Ok, Ive been using SuSE for a couple of years now, and it shares a drive with my XP installation. Ever since I installed SuSE, I've allowed the GRUB bootloader to handle which OS to boot into. I'm thinking to load SuSE 10.1 onto my notebook, and I'm thinking I might find a better, 3rd party bootloader. I'm going to be honest, I can run SuSE under the KDE front-end fairly well; thats to say I can surf, burn and what have you. However, I'm hardly proficient with Linux, and have some difficul...

I can't begin to tell you how I felt watching this on demand ABC video clip where a young girl employed at a W. Kentucky Mc Donald's is accused of stealing a purse, forced to remove her clothes, is spanked for more than 10 minutes, was forced into oral copulation and more, by a stranger on a telephone. I'll tell you, you guys need to see this sick foolishness. It astounds me the stupidity of some of the residents of this great country. Link This poor girl is literally tortured and ...

I ran across this on YouTube last night, and thought it would be worthsharing. This is a series of interviews from various soldiers in Iraq, discussing the myths and facts concerning recruiting,combat/war/killing, honor, propaganda, health benefits, war crimes, andother political views; produced by IndymediaPresents. Sadly, I do not pay much attention to the war in Iraq, becausehonestly, I can't see how it effects my life in America one way or theother. I thought the following product...

From the Revver website: Verizon, a day after announcing YouTube as being a part of their future video service on the Verizon cellular network, has now cut a deal with Revver, com. You will be able to select Revver from the entertainment area on Vcast sometime in early December. "Revver.com shows ads at the end of each video clip, but that won't be the case on V Cast. Instead, Revver said, uploaders whose videos are played will share in the licensing arrangement with Verizon." I ...

I've been divorced for a decade or so now, so I've had plenty of training in the domestic area. It hasn't been much of an issue the past 3 years or so, as my companion pretty much takes care of the bulk of our domestic chores. However, as some of you may have read, thats all coming to an end tomorrow, and I'm back to being a bachelor yet again; at least for a while. Anyhow, when it comes to domestic chores, I have to admit I'm pretty lazy. Unfortunately, I can't stand living in a pig s...

In January of 2000, I finally did it. I was living on the Peninsula and drove to Santa Rosa to pick up my payroll. I stopped off at a bar in Novato on the way home, as was customary at the end of most work days. Of course I over-did it; pretty much like I did everyday back then. So about 2 hours and $50 in drinks later, I headed off to SanRafael where I had lived for many years prior, to get some weed from a friend of mine. I cruised down the 101 freeway, and took the Anderson exit. I stop...

I know there are more harmful things to obsess on, but is it cool tolet your child become so obsessed in a set of game cards that hecompletely goes off his rocker? I think kids today would be better off playing more outside and gettingoff "activities" such as : video games, ugly rap music, gamecards...etc. What ever happened to neighborhoodbaseball/football/basketball games, tobaggoning and sledding, snowballfights, swimming, skating/rollerblading? Even the old commercials, "This is Yo...
