Just for fun, how many ways is the word "shot" used in our modern day language? I came up with about 19. How many can you come up with? 1) A shot of liquer (portion)

It was 3 years ago I invited you to stay with me in the Golden State, so you could escape some maniac in Florida. Who ever thought we would end up in a romantic relationship. In those 3 years, I don't ever remember telling you I loved you, not even once. I took you with me to Citrus Heights, and told you not to worry. Quit your job kiddo, take your time finding another, I'm working nothing but state jobs now and making enough. 2 months later I'm unemployed, my savings draining daily....

I woke up this morning, went out to get my mail, and notice the front page ad of the Walmart flyer: Starting November 5th you can buy a brand new Compaq Presario (V5305WM) for the amazingly low price of $398. Here are the specs of the HP homepage: I'm thinking to replace my PII 300 with one of these guys

Theres been some talk concerning points a bit in the last week or so. Have a look around and you can see the various posts. I got to thinking about it, and decided that this was worth a new post. Draginol's access class of 9 really gives him a significant edge. In a couple of the scoring schemes, one's access class is squared and/or multiplied against. Interesting=Your access class squared. Insightful = 2 X Your access class squared For example: Draginol posts an article, an...

There have been a lot of talk concerning points and the ambiguity of the JU scoring system of late. For any of you concerned, Zoomba kindly answered some questions for me, and you can see that dialog by clicking here> Link What I would like to know, is how is JU rated against other blogging sites around the globe? Maybe for those of us that have a competitive edge, instead of pitting ourselves against one another for JU site stats, we could concentrate on building JU ratings as a team...

Should parents and guardians spy on their children’s internet use? It should be of no mystery to us that the internet is a potential breeding ground for many types of predators. Pedophiles, stalkers, serial killers and whatever other form of depraved individual (or group) that one can imagine. Our young children are very susceptible to the manipulation of other adults. I for one do NOT want my daughter seeking important advice from somebody I do not know over the internet; would you? ...

Growing up in a middle-class neighborhood in New England, I was pretty much sheltered from non-white people. In fact, the only Black, Asian, or Indians I ever really knew is what I saw on the television, or saw driving through the city – until one day. My parents always watched the news, and we kids had to suffer through it for a half a hour before we could watch our programming. I remember hearing about racial desegregation, but as a young boy, I had no clue as to what any of it meant. ...

My 66 year old dad has finally decided to become a PC end-user. As much as I love my dad, I cant tell you how exasperating it is to teach him how to use his new PC over the telephone from 3000 miles away. Ive decided the best way to both teach him how to use, and to maintain his PC, is to use an online Service. I have tried other software solutions such as MS Remote Assistance, Ultr@VNC, and the ever trusty PC Anywhere. He gets a runtime error whenever he tries to open a Remote Assis...
