The babble of a middle-aged lunatic.
I've been working installing pool tables again for a couple of weeks. It's not really my top skill, but the pay isn't all that bad.

Anyway, I'm the junior guy on my team; the senior guy being a friend of mine of a few years. He's a great guy, but he's one of those 28 year-old men people that thinks he knows everything. It serves to mention that he really is very good, and is well skilled, but sheesh.

Don't get me wrong, I don't mind being directed, but this guy has to tell me not only when I can take a piss, but how to pull down my zipper and how to hold my schlong whilst urinating.

Every little detail has got to be his way. I don't understand why I can't do my part of the project and he his without constant interference. It simply drives me NUTS!

He sounds like one of those control freaks. Ugh. If he has a history of not being able to work with lots of people, it's probably not you. Are you sure he's nice? He sounds like one of those people with weird fake smiles on all the time while he tells you you are all wrong.

Have I ever worked with someone who's always right? Of course...ME! But being the narcissist I am, that's never been a problem!

(TOTALLY kidding here...I know the type!)

Heh, what you need to do is look at him when he's interfering with you when you are engaged in something and say "Okay, dude -now who's fu..." er, maybe you better just look at my last blog there...

I've never worked with someone who is always right but some of my coworkers have.

I've worked with loads of people who think they are always right. It's natural in companies where the boss doesn't have his training psychology up to scratch. As for me: they get the sharp edge of my sabre-like tongue!

Raven,

Naw, most of the time he's a pretty cool cat, and we have a lot of fun. It's when we get on the job that hes so darned anal and freaky.

I smiling. He is a union carpenter and I'm a union painter. I can assure you that none of our bosses have any training psych.

The funny thing is this guy worked for a company that I used to foreman for, which made him my subordinate. I would never dream of treating guys the way he does. If I did, nobody would want to work on my crew, just as nobody but me will work with this guy.

Some people that have to tell others how to do everything a certain way are Obssive Compulsive.

Seriously.

Either that or they're incredibly insecure.

My older brother is that way and it drives me up a wall, every so often I just go off on him verbally. He might think is is always right, but I can kick his ass and he knows it.

My son is only ten and definately has know-it-all tendencies. It is annoying but what do you do?

how to hold my schlong whilst urinating.

Maybe you should ask him to hold it for you?

Yep.  Use to be 2, but down to 1 now.  The problem is that at least the other was most of the time.  This clown has no way of knowing how to say "I was wrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr....".  Ok Fonzie.

Hm well, I guess some people are better off as friends than as co-workers.
