The babble of a middle-aged lunatic.
Now who is messing with mother nature here? It amazes me how some people can cry when a tree is cut, proclaiming we are altering nature, but when we mess with genes and what have you, it's no big deal.

Whatever.

In 2001, researchers at Texas A&M University, created the first cloned cat named Copy Cat.

After bringing in a male to mate with Copy Cat, some several months later, here in December, Copy Cat gives birth to 3 kittens.

I don't understand the fascination with cloning, unless of course its cloning some KGB.

A couple of years ago I read a study on cloned piglets. It turns out that the litter of pigs with the exact same genetic make-up neither looked or acted the same. Turns out that the womb is a super complex environment (no wonder women are so complex! ) and that condition and position in the womb do a lot of molding of that raw genetic material.
